Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (M)
Director Wes Ball breathes new life into the global, epic franchise set several generations in the future following Caesar's reign, in which apes are the dominant species living harmoniously and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike. "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" is directed by Wes Ball (the "Maze Runner" trilogy) and stars Owen Teague ("IT"), Freya Allan ("The Witcher"), Kevin Durand ("Locke & Key"), Peter Macon ("Shameless"), and William H. Macy ("Fargo"). The screenplay is by Josh Friedman ("War of the Worlds") and Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver ("Avatar: The Way of Water") and Patrick Aison ("Prey"), based on characters created by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver, and the producers are Wes Ball, Joe Hartwick, Jr. ("The Maze Runner"), Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, Jason Reed ("Mulan"), with Peter Chernin (the "Planet of the Apes" trilogy) and Jenno Topping ("Ford v. Ferrari") serving as executive producers.
The Fall Guy (M)
He's a stuntman, and like everyone in the stunt community, he gets blown up, shot, crashed, thrown through windows and dropped from the highest of heights, all for our entertainment. And now, fresh off an almost career-ending accident, this working-class hero has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job. What could possibly go right?
Back to Black (R13)
A celebration of the most iconic - and much missed - homegrown star of the 21st century, BACK TO BLACK tells the extraordinary tale of Amy Winehouse. Painting a vivid, vibrant picture of the Camden streets she called home and capturing the struggles of global fame, BACK TO BLACK honours Amy's artistry, wit, and honesty, as well as trying to understand her demons. An unflinching look at the modern celebrity machine and a powerful tribute to a once-in-a-generation talent.
RADFF24: Maurice And I (E)
Maurice & I is a feature-length documentary celebrating Sir Miles Warren and Maurice Mahoney's hugely influential architectural partnership, and their legacy that was all but lost in the devastating Christchurch earthquakes. This remarkable partnership, their approach to design and their signature use of materials transformed the face of Christchurch in 60s and 70s, and influenced their architectural peers throughout New Zealand. Within a short decade Christchurch was to shrug off its reputation for somewhat stuffy Georgian and neo-gothic architecture for a distinctive ‘brutalist' style that was bold, modern and often controversial. Then in 2011, almost the entire built legacy of Warren and Mahoney was destroyed. Among the buildings which suffered major damage was the Christchurch Town Hall, regarded by many, including the architects themselves, as their finest work. Internationally renowned for its elegant, brutalist form and sophisticated interiors, the Christchurch Town Hall revolutionised the design approach to performance spaces and acoustic engineering. As the Christchurch Town Hall's fate hangs in the balance, Sir Miles Warren and Maurice Mahoney reflect on their remarkable partnership. Maurice & I combines rare archival footage alongside exclusive interviews with Sir Miles and Maurice Mahoney, including their final interview together.
RADFF24: New England Modernism (E)
Between the 1930s and 1970s, American Modernism established an exciting and provocative footing in New England. By the 1940s the work of American master Frank Lloyd Wright and European newcomers such as Le Corbusier and Walter Gropius influenced generations of young architects and inspired a surprisingly large catalogue of important buildings throughout the region. Architects Marcel Breuer, Landis Gores, John Johansen, Philip Johnson, Eliot Noyes and many others led the charge. Dive deeply into this rich pool of talent whose buildings still hold international influence, despite the constant threat of redevelopment. These works tell the story of New England Modernism, a story rich with beauty, imagination, creativity and industriousness.
RADFF24: Fashion Reimagined (E)

The film follows her journey to discover her father's threatened legacy as an artist, as she confront the imminent possibility of the building's destruction or irreparable decay.
RADFF24: Modernism Inc. (E)
Mid-century architect and designer Eliot Noyes built the design programs for some of America's most powerful postwar corporations. The film weaves Noyes' story with the broader context of corporate America's embrace of Modernism during the period of postwar economic expansion and culminates in the backlash against Noyes and his generation during the countercultural upheaval of the Vietnam era. The life and work of Eliot Noyes is a vehicle to explore the intersection of postwar business, technology and design - a story that continues to resonate in the contemporary context.
